Castem Co., Ltd. has commercialized an award-winning student work from a manufacturing competition as
“Kujirush,” produced using our proprietary precision casting technology.

“Kujirush” is a whale-shaped tissue weight designed to be placed on top of a standard tissue box. When a tissue is set through the whale’s blowhole, each pull creates a charming scene—just as if a whale were spouting water.

The product will be available from February 19, 2026, on various e-commerce platforms.

This item was developed from a work that received the Excellence Award at the “Castem Monozukuri Competition” held in 2023. The competition, organized under the theme “Metal That Blends into Everyday Life,” was open to university and vocational school students in Hiroshima Prefecture. “Kujirush” is one of the three works that received the Excellence Award.
