CASTEM Co.,Ltd. and CASTEM VIETNAM CO.,LTD., members of the Castem Global Group, held a completion ceremony on January 19, 2026, to mark the opening of a newly established Vietnam factory in Quang Ninh Province, northern Vietnam.

This represents our first expansion into Vietnam. The new factory is our seventh overseas production site and is expected to become our largest production base following the planned second phase of construction.

We selected Vietnam, where continued economic growth is anticipated, as a new production site for our core business of lost-wax precision casting, with the aim of enhancing our production capacity and shortening lead times across our Group.

In 2023, we acquired a 20,000 m² site, commenced construction in July 2024, and obtained the local environmental license in November 2025. Trial production is currently underway, with mass production scheduled to begin by the end of May 2026.

At the completion ceremony, approximately 100 attendees, including our business partners, bank representatives, and local stakeholders, toured our production processes, including mold making, casting, and machining.

【Message from Takuo Toda, President and CEO of the CASTEM Group】

We are pleased to announce the completion of CASTEM Vietnam, the seventh overseas production site of the CASTEM Group. Although the factory has begun operations on a compact scale in terms of facilities and personnel, we intend to steadily expand it and, in the future, develop it into the largest production base within the Group.

Over the past 20 years, production in Japan’s casting industry has declined by approximately 60%. In contrast, CASTEM has quadrupled its sales during the same period and has grown to become the third-largest company in the combined fields of precision casting and metal injection molding. Today, we are expanding our operations not only in Japan but also throughout Asia, the United States, South America, and Europe, achieving steady growth in each region.

At our headquarters in Japan, we have begun developing original products in the fields of medical care, health, nursing, and beauty. In addition, agricultural initiatives—including the cultivation of tomatoes and mangoes in Okinawa and premium strawberries in Hiroshima—are progressing steadily. Jewelry created using our proprietary pearl processing technology has also attracted significant attention within the industry. Furthermore, in April, we plan to launch a Luxury Watch & Jewelry Division in Kyoto, integrating this technology with the development of high-end watches.

Guided by a spirit that challenges conventional thinking within the materials industry, CASTEM will continue to pursue innovation and remain a pioneer as a materials-focused company. We sincerely appreciate your continued support and patronage.
